GlyphGarden lets you create and share typefaces. You retain responsibility for your work, its name, and the licence you choose.

Your font and the selected licence

You keep your rights in your font. By publishing it, you grant GlyphGarden a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, process, render, display, promote on the service and distribute the font file according to the licence you select. GlyphGarden may show the font name, creator name, licence and sample characters. Private fonts are not publicly listed or distributed.

You confirm that you created the font or hold the rights needed to offer it under the selected licence.

Licensing

Private fonts are not listed publicly and require their owner password for access. Personal Use restricts use to non-commercial projects. SIL Open Font License 1.1 permits broad use, embedding, modification and redistribution subject to that licence. CC0 dedicates the font to the public domain as far as legally possible.

Owner access

GlyphGarden stores no account or recovery email. Keep the generated font ID and owner password. Lost passwords cannot be reset.

Only publish typefaces you created or have the right to license. This test service may change or be removed without notice.
